About Embolden Therapy

  • I didn’t know it at the time, but the dream of Embolden Therapy began before I ever considered a name or even opening a practice.

After spending years refining my clinical skills in school and community mental health settings, I transitioned to group practice seeking to devote my full energy to client care.

The therapeutic relationship is extraordinary, meaningful, and unique. I wanted that to flourish and be reflected in the work I was doing with my clients.

  • But structural and financial pressures in group practice prioritize profit over the therapeutic relationship and quality of care, and devalues clinicians.

I realized that my clients deserve a therapist who is able to practice in full alignment with her values. With this newfound clarity, Embolden Therapy took form.

  • To align with my values and the needs of my clients, I needed to make a leap, to have an unwavering commitment to building a space where care is ethical, human-centered, and honest. Where both client and clinician are prioritized and heard.

Embolden Therapy exists because I need to uphold my values.

This commitment to ethical treatment of both client and clinician meant starting something new to provide the kind of care I have trained for and dreamed of.

The story of Embolden Therapy is a story of choosing integrity over profit and convenience. A new path that honors the amazing clients I work with.

Embolden Therapy embodies that hope: a therapeutic space where courage, intimacy and authenticity can thrive. Every person who steps through the door will feel supported, respected, and emboldened.
